For your comfort and convenience, a spa terry wrap and additional towels are provided to each guest. We kindly request, that you remove all footwear prior to entering your private sauna cabin.

Sauna sessions may be purchased in 30-minute or 45-minute increments. With our infrared sauna technology, every minute is a pleasant warming experience.

To best accommodate our pre-booked guests, we do not accept walk-ins at this time. However, we are happy to accommodate any last minute appointment requests based on sauna availability. Please call us at 315-472-2873 to verify immediate availability or book your appointment online in advance.

We are happy to discuss your individual health and wellness goals during your first visit. In most cases, we hope to see you no less than once a week, but in many instances and for optimal results, at least 2-3 times a week is often recommended. Remember, infrared sauna is a wonderful enhancement to any wellness routine and our committed members enjoy the lowest rates and report the best results!

Can more than one person go in the sauna at a time? 2017-09-22T19:12:28+00:00

Absolutely! We have three private sauna suites altogether. Two of these can accommodate up to two guests; just be sure to book the two person room when reserving an appointment online or by phone.  Please note however, that all sessions, packages and memberships are sold individually and are not transferable. We invite all of our guests to enjoy discounted rates by becoming members!

No. All Saunacuse memberships and packages are sold individually and are not transferable.

The GOOD NEWS, however, is that all of our MEMBERS enjoy reduced pricing when purchasing additional sessions for themselves or adding a guest to their session. Adding an extra session to your existing membership or adding a guest to join your session is $20 or $30 each visit depending on the type of membership you have (30 or 45 minutes). Memberships themselves cannot be shared otherwise. (Remember to notify the studio or to book the two person sauna room online and include the additional guest in the “Notes” section of your online scheduler for this type of appointment).

What are the terms and conditions of memberships? 2017-09-27T14:22:12+00:00

Membership commitment is for a minimum of 3 months and will AUTO RENEW indefinitely unless we receive a notice of cancellation at least 14 days prior to the date the next payment is due. NO EXCEPTIONS.  For changes to your membership, please notify us in person, over the phone, or via email at info@saunacuse.com to ensure accuracy of records.

Your monthly auto-pay membership begins on the day of purchase, and your next payment will be debited one month from the day of purchase and on the same day each month until your membership is cancelled.  Unused sessions DO NOT rollover each month.

You cannot freeze a membership, although after the initial 3 months you may cancel the membership and renew at any time. Each renewal will begin again with the minimum 3 month commitment. Note: We cannot guarantee the same rates as your initial membership once you decide to cancel and renew again at a later date.

What if I am running late or need to cancel my scheduled session? 2017-10-01T13:48:13+00:00

As standard practice, we will request all clients provide credit card information to hold a reservation. As a courtesy to our guests, we request cancellations 24 hours before your appointment time.  No call, no shows for single session bookings will be considered a late cancel and counted as fulfilled. If clients with a membership or package cancel an appointment outside our requested notice, one session may be counted as fulfilled. Clients with unlimited memberships may be charged an additional $10 for each cancellation outside the requested notice.

Yes. Although the studio’s reception area is public, each sauna room is private. Once you enter your sauna suite, you will be able to enjoy your session free from interruptions.

How soon will I see or feel results? 2017-09-22T19:16:45+00:00

It may take a few sessions for the body to develop a response to the infrared heat allowing pores to open and the deep detoxification process to begin. However, many of our clients have reported better quality sleep, less fatigue, and notable improvements in their skin after their very first session!

Is the weight loss only water? 2017-09-22T19:06:45+00:00

No, it’s more. Sweat released from the pores will carry fat molecules. Fat cells begin to liquefy at 110˚F and can be released through the pores along with sweat during an average 30 or 45 minute infrared sauna session. The weight loss is more than water weight; it is actual fat loss. Additionally, because infrared heat penetrates the skin and raises your core body temperature, your heart rate will also increase, thus allowing you to burn calories – the equivalent of jogging for an hour!

Are there any restrictions for sauna use? 2017-09-27T14:30:55+00:00

If you are unsure if sauna use is right for you, you may wish to consult with your physician prior to booking your appointment. Do not use if you are pregnant, have a fever, a communicable disease, hemophilia, are intoxicated or dehydrated. You may also want to consult with your physician regarding medications. If you are elderly, have cardiovascular or chronic conditions, insensitivity to heat, or a condition that affects your body’s ability to sweat, you may also wish to check with your doctor or pharmacist prior to booking your appointment.

Yes. Infrared light naturally eliminates the presence of viral, bacterial, and fungal toxins. Additionally, our staff is fully trained to properly clean and sanitize the saunas after each use. We also provide clean towels and bath mats for each guest.

How long will it take for my core body temperature to return to normal? 2017-09-22T19:13:46+00:00

It is normal for the body to take as long as one hour to return to its regular temperature. However, most guests report cool down to be about 15-30 minutes upon exiting the sauna.

No. You may notice that your body continues to sweat for some time after your infrared sauna session. We recommend waiting about 15-30 minutes before showering to allow your body to continue to release toxins. We do provide a cool aromatherapy infused towel after your session so that you leave feeling clean and refreshed.

Access to purified water is available and complimentary to all guests. We also have a variety of electrolyte infused beverages available for purchase.  Please keep in mind that the more hydrated you are, the more you will sweat. Be sure to drink plenty of hydrating fluids before and after your treatment.

We encourage our guests to use sauna time to relax and simply allow the infrared heat to melt away any stress or fatigue you may be experiencing. However, our guests also have access to a multi-media experience using our Android tablets to watch Netflix or listen to music while in session. Please feel free to enjoy a book or magazine or do some seated stretches as well!

What if I have implants? 2017-09-22T19:15:44+00:00

Metal pins, rods, artificial joints, limbs, or any other surgical implants generally reflect infrared waves; thus, are not heated by this system. Implanted silicone or silicone prosthetics for nose or ear replacement may be warmed by the infrared waves. Since silicone melts at over 392˚F (200˚C), it should not be adversely affected by the use of infrared sauna; nevertheless, you should consult your surgeon or physician prior to using an infrared sauna.
